Actually I have a question: there is people on forums that say they have pre-ordered the Collectors Edition. Now when I check the websites of the companies that will sell the CE according to Mythic, then it is not available yet for pre-ordering.

Did anyone already buy the game, or is it really not out there yet?

Im not sure where your located. But in North America the CE recently sold out completely. EAstore no longer advertises them and Amazon.com took them down. You may be able to find them at retail stores but your Open beta and early access codes may be in limbo until release actually happens. Make sure if you lay down the money to preorder at a small retail store that you dont leave without the codes.

That sounds like bad news! I live in Europe and I intended to order it myself, shipped to a friend in the US. On amazon.com it says you can sign up for an email service that tells when the CE will be available, so I thought they were still going to sell it!

Thank you for that valuable tip Aeleth! The link indeed took me to the right place. Unfortunately both Peledornik and me did not get beyond the first pop-up after we hit the preorder button. (We get the text "Before we can add Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Collector's Edition to your cart, please make the following selections:" and an EA logo, but nothing is clickable).

Also, logging in with a US proxyserver did not solve the problem, so a mystery unveils. I'll try to work on it a bit more and I'll keep you posted!

EDIT: Also, I am surprised that the actual collectors edition page on the EA store website has no working links to the page you showed me. There is two buttons there, but they are not clickable either.

Yeah, it seems like they have some come available as people cancel orders or something, it's really weird. I got lucky I guess. With some new info coming out on the regular Pre-Order, you may just wait for it.

supposedly regular pre-orders are getting 'head start' codes as well, if that's all you planned on getting (I did originally).

If that's the case, some people may end up canceling their CE pre-orders and you may be able to grab up some of those. I'll keep an eye out if a new/fresh link comes available for ordering.

btw: I had the problem too with clicking preorder and not being able to get past that EA logo as I tried it a few mins ago just to see.

Indeed, it looks like I will need to reload the page on a daily bases to check if there are copies there. For me it's not only the head start, but the beta key and the artbook as well, so I will keep my fingers crossed! :-)

It looks like for me the artbook is the only reason to want the collectors edition, since beta and early game start are both included for the normal preorder. I should have no difficulties getting one of the normal games. So thanks for the help and see you in open beta!

@ Raine, it was fun to meet you ingame while I was playing beta with Peledornik for a bit. Too bad we lost the elf scenario.. :)

EDIT: With the normal the preorder I was actually able to just buy it myself. The "this product only ships to addresses in the US" did not pop up, so yay!

They removed a tactic I normally used =( woulda been able to make it.

Heh, that is bad! If I hadn't been messing around so much with controls
and if it had not been my first hour on a Sorceress (I had not played her before the patch) I might have been able to contribute more to the fight :-)

It was fun though, I might actually roll a Sorceress come release!

So I hope the decision to play on the first RP server agrees with you all. I have heard about long queues at prime time, but the people from Europe are lucky, since we usually log on before it's prime time.

I can say the server agrees with me very well! I've enjoyed the guild nights with you guys very much and it's also very nice to find some of you online almost all day around: never a dull moment ;-)
