Hey guys long time no talk ive been busy this summer and have wanted to sign up and talk to you guys, so now i am and i was really thinkin about coming to Daoc to check it out. Becoming more and more interested in other MMO's. But i had a few questions that come with it. Ok so i hear there are two expansions +the game itself is that right? and do i need to buy all three to play. Are there different servers i need to sign up with like wow or all just in one? last question what is the monthly fee like?

Ill do my best to answer, but feel free to chime in if I leave anything out.

As far as expansions, If you are in the US you should just go ahead and buy the Epic Edition that is in most retail stores. It usually runs about $19.99? And it includes: Classic, Shrouded Isles, Trials of Atlantis, Foundations, New Frontiers, Catacombs, and Darkness Rising. Not only will buying this pack save you a lifetime of patches and updates, but I think you end up saving a few bucks off than if you bought them individually.

There are many servers, though not as many as Warcraft. Our current server is Gareth, which is listed as a Classic server. Classic basically means that Trials of Atlantis is not activated on this server which will save you a few months of alternate character advancement.

The Monthly payments are $10? I am not too sure, but I know that you get a dollar off each month if you sign up for three or two dollars off if you do six months.

Daoc is about PvP, you can powerlevel a character to max level of 50 in between one and two weeks, but going slow and fighting in the various level restricted battlegrounds is definately the way to go! Once you hit 50, again the focus is on getting together a perfect set of armor (though unlike Warcraft, the bar is both low and relatively static) and then using said armor to kill endless numbers of enemy characters in the frontiers.

Its been confirmed KoWW will be on Destruction : Phoenix Throne Role play server on launch just so we can rape all the roll players for shits and giggles!

We expect populations to be full on both sides as its the 1st Roleplay server so action should be balanced
